Adam is jointly responsible for the overall strategic direction, and operations of the group. He takes a lead role with respect to the company’s acquisition and capital partnering functions, including deal origination, structuring and fund raising. Adam is an accomplished professional having been accountable for approximately $7 Billion in real estate debt and private equity investing across the alternative (student accommodation, retirement/aged care, childcare, private rented accommodation) and commercial (office, industrial, retail), sectors in both Australia and Europe.

Prior to establishing GreenFort Capital, Adam was Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investing at ASX 300 listed Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited (‘Blue Sky’), where he managed an extensive investment and development portfolio across multiple sectors and regions. He was also a founding director of the Atira Student Living operating business.

Adam has extensive experience in real estate strategy, investment, asset management and development. He possesses a unique blend of both private and public sector experience having previously worked for leading Investment Banks Morgan Stanley (Real Estate Investing) and Goldman Sachs, as well as within the investment arm of Australia’s largest local government body.

Adam holds a Masters of Applied Finance, Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and a Bachelor of Business (Distinction).

NICK SINGLETON - PARTNER

Nick is jointly responsible for the overall strategic direction, and operations of the group. He takes a lead role with respect to the company’s funds management function, with responsibilities including deal origination, asset management, valuation, and debt funding. He is also a Director of Retirement Living operating businesses Reside Communities, and a Director of specialist accommodation management business Canvas Living.

Nick’s 17 years’ experience in the real estate, financial and infrastructure sectors has spanned Australia and Europe and includes senior roles at a FTSE 250 infrastructure group and listed and unlisted Australian and European real estate companies where he sat on a number of development and investment related boards.

Throughout his career Nick has been responsible for the funds and financial management function of approximately $25 Billion in real estate and infrastructure assets globally, including more than $2 Billion in debt.

Prior to GreenFort Capital, Nick was an Executive Director within Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited and was also a founding director of the Atira Student Living operating business.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and has been a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 2001.


DANIEL CHEILYK - INVESTMENT DIRECTOR

Daniel is responsible for assisting with GreenFort Capital’s funds management function, including deal origination, structuring, fund raising, asset management and debt funding.

Prior to GreenFort Capital, Daniel worked at ASX 300 listed Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited, as an Investment Director where he managed the Atira Student Living joint venture with Goldman Sachs, including its ~$700 million platform sale in 2019 of all real estate and associated operating business.

Daniel has also previously worked at leading international law firms, Norton Rose Fulbright and K&L Gates, as a Senior Associate focussing on Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity.

Daniel was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 2009 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business Management.

Matthew Lockhart – Senior Development Manager

Matt is responsible for and assists with the company’s development and project delivery requirements, specialising in the areas of procurement, design, construction and project management.

With over a decade of experience in the property and construction industry, Matt has in depth knowledge across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, retail, student accommodation, and education with projects varying in size up to $400m in value. Prior to joining GreenFort Capital Matt worked for a large national construction company, and most recently as a Senior Project Manager with Savills, an international real estate consultancy firm, gaining significant experience in all aspects of project delivery. Matt has a proven track record of successfully delivering key projects for a wide range of institutional, government and private clients.

Matt’s formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Property Economics and a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours).

STEVEN WRIGHT - MANAGER, DEVELOPMENT

Steve is responsible for assisting to manage the company’s development and delivery function (including with respect to design, time, quality and cost) for projects across a range of asset classes and sectors.

With 16+ years’ experience in the property, development and project management sectors, Steve brings extensive knowledge and experience to GreenFort Capital’s projects across all life cycle stages. Steve’s wide-ranging national and international experience includes major land and built form developments across numerous sectors including, land lease communities, seniors living, residential, retail, commercial, health and education.

Prior to GreenFort Capital, Steve oversaw a large land lease communities (LLC) portfolio of an Australian development and operating business. This role saw him lead a large internal and external team in product inception, establishment, delivery and ongoing asset management.

Steve holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), a Masters of Project Management, a Postgraduate Certificate in Business, a Bachelor of Design Studies (Architecture) and is a Certified Practicing Project Director as a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management.

Andrew Lee - OPerations Director

Andrew has valuable experience in asset management and operations across a number of accommodation sectors including hotels, serviced apartments, residential and student accommodation. He is responsible for managing GreenFort Capital’s operational investments including its specialist residential management business, Canvas Living.

Prior to his role at GreenFort, Andrew was a Senior Director at JLL leading the Residential & Alternative Asset Management division in Queensland overseeing a portfolio of over 4,500 residential apartments, including Australia’s largest operational Build To Rent asset. Previously, Andrew was a Director within Blue Sky Alternative Investments Real Estate Division and a Director of the Atira Student Living operating business.

Andrew started his career in hotels with Accor Asia Pacific where he spent almost 15 years working in senior positions across a range of hotel brands within Australia.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

STUART BOWDEN – GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Stuart is responsible for the finance and accounting function at GreenFort Capital.

He manages all aspects of the Company’s budgeting, cashflow and financial analysis with a major focus on accounting compliance and the timely and accurate reporting to key stakeholders including project partners.

An experienced financial accountant with over 15 years of experience, Stuart has previously been responsible for financial reporting and held senior positions at number of real estate and funds management businesses.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Laws, and has been a member of the Chartered Accountants (CA Australia & New Zealand) since 2009.

Elliott Bouher - Product & Customer Experience Manager 

Elliott is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing resident, staff and owner experience initiatives across GreenFort Capital’s accommodation projects, including for investee businesses Canvas Living and Reside Communities. Elliott also leads the development and management of in-house data analysis and systems across the GreenFort Capital business.

He has worked in both London and Australia across a number of industries, and including start-ups through to major ASX listed companies. He has a broad range of experience including across financial services, on-demand services, logistics and Proptech.

Elliott excels at product strategy, market analysis, data analytics, and in enhancing business outcomes through the adoption of technology.

Elliott has a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Kate CarroLl – Development Manager

Kate is responsible for and assists with the company’s development and project delivery requirements, specialising in the areas of procurement, design, construction and project management.

With 15 years’ experience in the property industry, Kate has extensive knowledge across multiple asset classes in the private and public sector, including seniors living, medium and high density, mixed-use, and social and affordable housing. Kate has worked on projects in all phases of the development cycle in Queensland, Victoria and WA, varying in size up to $300m in value. Before joining Greenfort Capital, Kate worked as a Development Manager for Economic Development Queensland responsible for site acquisitions for the State, and prior to that as a Development Manager for Stockland. Kate also has experience in residential sales, working as a Licensed Estate Agent in Melbourne.

Kate’s formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Management (Real Estate & Development) from the University of Queensland, a Master of Urban Development & Sustainability from Bond University, and a Graduate Certificate in Carbon Management from Bond University.

AXEL GLEMAREC – INVESTMENT MANAGER

Axel is responsible for assisting with GreenFort Capital’s funds management function, including undertaking real estate and corporate investment, valuation analysis and financial modelling.

Prior to GreenFort Capital, Axel worked at Ernst & Young (EY) for 5 years, most recently as a Manager in the Strategy and Transactions division where he primarily provided financial due diligence services for buy and sell side transactions as well as Initial Public Offerings (IPO’s) for a diverse range of industries and clients, including private equity and ASX listed companies.

Axel holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a member of the Chartered Accountants (CA Australia & New Zealand).

ELIZABETH BRAUER - ACCOUNTANT

Together with the Group Financial Controller, Elizabeth is responsible for the finance and accounting function at GreenFort Capital.Elizabeth is an experienced Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in real estate and funds management in Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to GreenFort Capital, Elizabeth worked for a number of real estate investment and development funds including one of New Zealand’s largest property fund managers, Augusta Capital.

Elizabeth holds a Diploma in Accounting.

Emily Field – Company Secretariat Coordinator

Emily is responsible for co-ordinating GreenFort Capital’s company secretarial function including board and committee support, group entity and record management, regulatory lodgements and managing risk related work streams.

Prior to GreenFort Capital, Emily worked at Sunsuper, one of Australia’s largest pension funds, providing corporate and secretarial support to a range of investment Boards and Committees.

Emily has strong experience in Legal and Compliance, and Funds Administration having previously worked for both an ASX listed fund manager and boutique private equity manager in this capacity where she was responsible for regulatory compliance and fund monitoring, and providing secretarial support.

JADE SINGLETON - CONSULTANT

Jade assists with research and compliance matters at GreenFort Capital supporting the group’s market analysis and monitoring functions, and assisting with risk and regulatory related workstreams.

An experienced investment management lawyer, Jade has previously held in-house legal roles at some of the world’s leading investment houses including Legal & General Investment Management (London, UK) and QIC (Brisbane, Australia).

ROBERT NASO - Non Executive Director/ Senior Advisor

Rob assists with corporate and project strategy including investment planning and project execution. He works closely with the Company and its institutional and wholesale capital partners.

Rob has over 20 years institutional real estate experience throughout the Asia Pacific and United States. His broad experience has covered acquisitions/dispositions, asset management, capital markets and investor relations while managing hard assets and entity level investments.

Rob’s real estate exposure has been diverse and includes CBD/suburban office, retail, serviced apartments, hotel, land development, residential, worker dormitory, industrial as well as equity and mezzanine lending.

Rob was previously Managing Director and Head of Asset Management for Morgan Stanley Real Estate's Investing business across Asia Pacific and oversaw the group’s activities in Australia (initially), mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Singapore/SE Asia and Korea.

Rob is also a Managing Director and Head of US Asset Management at BentallGreenOak, a leading global real estate investment management firm.


MATTHEW PRYOR - NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/ SENIOR ADVISOR

Matthew is a key player in the hospitality, accommodation, gaming, and retail sectors across the Asia Pacific, with extensive experience in all stages of project delivery.

He has built an impressive 30-year career in the development, construction, and consulting arenas, and has delivered many challenging and iconic projects, including two of the world’s ten largest buildings.

Matthew was previously Senior Vice President, Construction (Asia) with Las Vegas Sands Corporation, responsible for all construction and development activity in Asia. Under his direction were Marina Bay Sands, Singapore (US$5.4b), Sands Cotai Central (US$4.2b), The Venetian Macao (US$2.4b), Four Seasons Macao (US$1.08b), and Sands Macao (US$364m).

This was preceded by appointments with Hong Kong-based companies PCCW, Swire Properties Limited, and Jones Lang Wootton Ltd; EMI (Asia Pacific) and a number of UK-based consultancies and developers.

Matthew is also co-founder and Managing Director of Mace TPM, a leading global project management company with full service delivery capabilities across real estate sectors including accommodation, commercial, gaming, and hospitality. Matthew is a leader of the Mace TPM business in the Asia Pacific region (including Australia).

NICK BOEKEL - CONSULTANT

Nick acts as a consultant to GreenFort Capital specialising in the areas of procurement, design, construction, project and facilities management.

Nick has extensive experience in the full delivery life cycle from initial planning/feasibility analysis, design and construction, through to the management of ongoing assets (including capital provisioning, improvement, and refurbishment programs).
